Why it matters

Community support keeps the doors open

Whether you are in recovery yourself and want to give something back, a local business looking to make a meaningful contribution to Falkirk's health, or an individual who simply wants to help, there is a genuine role for you here. We are always honest about where we have gaps and what difference your involvement would make, so please reach out and have a conversation with us before committing to anything.

Our peer support workers are volunteers who have been through recovery themselves — their lived experience is the single most important thing we offer. When you volunteer with us, you are not providing a service from a distance. You are becoming part of something real, rooted in the same community, with the same honest stake in it.

Financial contributions, however modest, go directly into delivering the sessions, funding volunteer training and keeping our community hub open. A regular monthly gift gives us the stability to plan ahead and maintain consistent services for the people who depend on us week to week.

Find the right role for you

We're honest about what we need and what the commitment involves. Whatever your situation, there is likely a way for you to contribute that works for you as well as for us.

Volunteer

We recruit and train people with lived experience of addiction and recovery to become peer support volunteers — the heart of everything we do. If you have been through your own recovery journey and would like to use that experience to help others in Falkirk, we would love to hear from you. We provide full induction training, ongoing supervision and peer support for volunteers themselves.

Donate

As a small SCIO, every donation goes directly into delivering peer support, funding volunteer training and keeping our community hub open. A regular monthly gift, however modest, gives us the stability to plan ahead and maintain consistent services for the people who depend on us. You can also make a one-off donation — all contributions are acknowledged and every penny is accounted for in our annual report.

Partner With Us

Local employers, faith communities, housing associations and other voluntary organisations can partner with us through in-kind support, joint referral pathways or staff volunteering days. If you work with people whose lives are touched by addiction, we want to know you. Strong community partnerships mean fewer people fall through gaps and more people find the help they need.
